Introduce

Youngyeun Kim is a 1st year Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth Resources and Environmental Engineering. Her research focuses on metal recovery from e-waste. She is interested in hydrometallurgy processes for waste treatment. Prior to her doctoral studies, she obtained B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering and M.S. degree in Energy and Environmental System Engineering from the University of Seoul. During her M.S. degree course, she studied methods for developing waste pretreatment processes.
