Introduction
Hello! My name is Soomin Cho, and I have been participating in SRPL as an undergraduate researcher since September 2026. As an undergraduate researcher, I am looking forward to learning various things and gaining valuable experience through research in the laboratory. I hope to learn from my professor and senior colleagues and gradually develop my understanding and skills in resource processing engineering.
I became interested in mineral processing after taking a course on resource processing engineering. In particular, I found the processes of separating and recovering valuable minerals interesting. I plan to broaden my knowledge by studying not only mineral processing but also metallurgy, and ultimately develop a deeper understanding of the overall process of treating and utilizing secondary resources. Through these experiences, I hope to build a strong foundation in circular resource processing and discover my specific area of interest in the field.
