Introduction

My name is Eunji Park and I joined SRP Lab in July 2024. I’m currently in integrated Master’s-Ph.D. program at Hanyang University with a major in Earth Resources and Environmental Engineering.

My research focuses on the recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries, a field that is becoming increasingly important for sustainable resource management. Within this field, I am particularly interested in hydrometallurgical methods for spent lithium-ion batteries, especially those related to the selective extraction of metals. To this end, I am conducting research and experiments on the selective recovery of valuable metals through leaching and solvent extraction process at SRP Lab.

My long-term goal is to develop advanced metal recovery methods that can enhance the efficiency, selectivity, and sustainability of spent lithium-ion battery recycling.
