Introduction
I am a Ph.D. student in the integrated master’s and doctoral program in the Department of Earth Resources and Environmental Engineering at Hanyang University, where I conduct research on resource recycling and metal recovery in the Sustainable Resources and Processing Laboratory (SRPLab). During my undergraduate studies, I completed a double major in Resources and Environmental Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. I also gained hands-on research experience as an intern at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), working on the fabrication and efficiency enhancement of perovskite solar cells.
My current research focuses on the atmospheric leaching of nickel laterite ores, including investigations of leaching mechanisms and kinetic analyses. In addition, I work on developing processes for recovering valuable and critical metals from secondary resources such as end-of-life photovoltaic modules and spent lithium-ion batteries. My main research interests include atmospheric leaching of nickel laterite ores, metal recovery from secondary resources, and sustainable resource recycling processes.
