Introduction

My name is Sohwi Park, and I joined SRPL in September 2024. I am currently a researcher in the integrated Master's-PhD program. Under the guidance of a highly dedicated and responsible professor, I have been developing my research capabilities within a collaborative environment supported by senior, peer, and junior researchers.

My recent research interests focus on hydrometallurgy in the recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries. I am particularly motivated by the potential to recover valuable metals from discarded materials, thereby contributing to resource sustainability and the circular economy.

To advance this work, I apply Design of Experiments (DoE) methodologies to systematically design and optimize experimental conditions. In addition, I aim to strengthenmy competencies in data interpretation and process analysis to produce robust and meaningful experimental outcomes.

My long-term goal is to contribute to the development of efficient and environmentally responsible metallurgical recycling technologies.
