Introduction

Hello, my name is Jaehoon Lee, and I have been pursuing my master’s degree at SRPL since 2024.

I have a strong interest in hydrometallurgical processes for nickel extraction, and prior to joining the program, I gained practical experience in solvent extraction (SX) at a research institute, where I worked on organic-solvent–based separation and purification techniques.

Recently, my research has focused on the acid leaching of nickel laterite ores. I am investigating various conditions to improve the efficiency of valuable metal leaching and recovery, with the aim of contributing to more economical and sustainable metal production technologies.

Research Interest

Nickel Laterite Leaching, Hydrometallurgy
